80% Of U.S. Adults Go Online! "Four
out of five U.S. adults go online now" according to a new Harris Poll.
The survey, which polled 2,062 adults in July and October, found that 79 percent of adults -- about 178 million -- go online, spending an average 11 hours a week on the Internet. The results reflect a steady rise since 2000, when 57 percent of adults polled said they went online. In 2006, the number was 77 percent. Internet Radio vs. On-Air Radio Online radio reaches 33 million Americans per week, up from 29 million per week last year!

Ratings January 2007
"Advertising
Goes Off the Radio - Ad dollars are deserting radio
airwaves for
the
Internet even faster than expected, studies show."
"Overall,
the number of unique visitors to Internet radio in the past 12
months is up 44%, according to a J.P. Morgan report, to 55 million.
Since November 2005, the Internet audience has grown at a
3.1% monthly
compounded rate."
"Advertising
are fleeing radio and flocking to
World Wide Web. Reports
are showing that by 2008 more advertising dollars will be spent on Web
than on radio."
"Internet
radio's monthly audience has grown by around 27 percent
annually since 2000."
"As
the
Internet steals
more and more advertising dollars away from
traditional media, the radio broadcasters appear to be one of the more
vulnerable enterprises because they don't have a new outlet or service
offering to offset that."

The
Differences!
We
offer personalized
service to our advertisers.
We're a Vermont small business owned and operated by Vermonters, not a national chain of McRadio stations. We treat our listeners and our advertisers like family and friends. Our ads are extremely affordable for even small businesses! Even at their lowest rates, the other stations will charge you anywhere from $15 to $30 each time they play your commercial! You have the listener's attention. They're right in front of their computer speakers, listening to us ... and your commercial! Our signal is crystal-clear in hi-fi digital stereo statewide! No fading, no drop-outs, no static. Solid, clear and clean stereo audio! You don't need a high-speed connection to listen, you can listen to us even on a dial-up connection! Commercial
